3. I am already
insured. Why do I need this health card? |

This
card cannot be compared to health
insurance like mediclaim policies etc.
for the simple reason that most of the
mediclaim policies simply reimbursed
hospitalization expenses of certain
medical procedures which are in tune
with the list of ailments provided by
that company.
Secondly not everybody has a mediclaim
policy. But a common man has to consult
doctors for a number of small ailments
like fever, cold & cough, dental
treatments etc. for which this card is a
boon whose benefit you can avail on a
day to day basis.

9. Will I
receive a membership card? |

Yes.
You will get your plastic member ID card
along with your Photograph and embossed
family details. It identifies you as a
My Doctor Health Card member and assures
that you will receive the preferred
member rates. You will need to present
your My Doctor Health Card member ID
card to your provider at the time of
service.
